Mareeba

"300 Sunny Days a year"

Mareeba is located a short, one hour drive west from Cairns, the gateway to the Atherton Tablelands, Cape York and other Gulf destinations. The name "Mareeba" is derived from the Aboriginal word meaning meeting of the waters. Mareeba is located 417m (1,368ft) above sea level on the confluence of the Barron River, Granite Creek and Emerald Creek.

It lies at the heart of the tableland's agricultural activities and is surrounded by waterfalls, coffee plantations, mango and paw paw farms, avocado farms, macadamia nut plantations as well as sugar cane fields and orchards specialising in pineapples, bananas and cashews.

Tropical Travellers Park Mareeba is located in a prime position, beside the Kennedy Highway, only a few minutes drive into the CBD where you will find everything you will need including Coles, IGA, Hardware Stores, Banks, Bakeries and much, much more.

We have so much to do here, you won't be dissapointed. Stay in the newest Accommodation in town!

We love Mareeba, and we know you will too!
