Mt Uncle Distillery

    Mt. Uncle Distillery began its life in 2001 and is the creation of Head Distiller and Director Mark Watkins.

    The distillery began with a multitude of liqueurs sourcing ingredients and fruits from Mt Uncle farm itself and other local farm lands on the Atherton Tablelands.

    Progressing on through the years Mt Uncle has built an impeccable and unrivalled reputation in producing award winning premium spirits and liqueurs still with a huge emphasis on using as many local and national Australian ingredients as possible.

    They are North Queensland’s first and only distillery and is the premier attraction on the Atherton Tablelands.

    Nestled at the foothill of Mount Uncle itself and set in beautiful landscaped gardens within a Banana plantation, Mt. Uncle Distillery is a stunning place to visit.

    Take a stroll around our grounds to meet our very friendly alpacas, donkeys and goats, and marvel at the beautiful peacocks roaming freely.

      Golden Drop Mango Winery

        Golden Drop Winery is a family owned and operated boutique winery situated on one of the largest commercial mango plantations in Australia. The Winery was established in 1999, making it the first commercial winery in North Queensland.


        Golden Drop Wines are of premium quality and are refreshing and light. Golden Drop Wines are available in three delicious varieties - Dry, Medium and Sweet. As well as these there is a Sparkling Mango Wine, Mango Port and an extensive variety of fortified liqueur style wines.


        The product is 100 per cent Australian, and are produced from their very own Australian Kensington Red Mangoes.
